This film traces the life of Reverend Marvin Chandler who was a self taught piano prodigy at the age of 4 and later became a jazz pianist.

He was minister at Second Street Baptist Church in Bloomington, was active in the Civil Rights Movement and one of the negotiators at the Attica Prison Riots in Attica New York.

His love of music, commitment to justice for all and his ministry to God shine throughout his life.
