On Saturday, October 14, we will celebrate our 14th annual Festival on Fairfax.
Join us on October 14th from 11am-5pm. Come and see our newly expanded worship space! And, there will be plenty of parking as we’ve added a new lower parking lot. Also, this year’s festival includes Slavic and Romanian food choices, so bring your appetite and your appreciation for beauty.
From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, residents of Bloomington and surrounding communities are warmly invited to come and enjoy Greek and Middle Eastern foods, live Bluegrass, Middle-Eastern, folk and Southern Gospel music, hayrides, children’s activities, and much, much more. Browse the bakeshop or the bookstore. Walk the shrine trail on a guided tour. Bid on one of specially-themed gift baskets in our silent auction. Visit the inside of the church and ask Father Peter Jon about Eastern Orthodox art, worship, theology, or architecture.
The day’s festivities will culminate in a time of prayer and thanksgiving at Great Vespers, at the Festival’s ending.
All are welcome to attend and pray with us!
See you there!
